Pneumatic actuators come in many different sizes depending on mechanical load of the application and Helical has a catalogue of 1000s of part numbers.
They can be used to control waste gate or variable geometry turbos. They can also be fitted with a position sensor should the ECU require positional feedback.
Pneumatic Actuators ca also be used on other flow control devices such as EGR valves and compressor bypass valves.
