ECRVs Electric Compressor Recirculating Valves are common devices used in the turbo chargers to prevent surge in the compressor, during transient conditions.
Helical has a range of 22 variants available to suit many applications with a variety of geometry, response-times and leakage-rates to suit.
ECRVs are basic solenoids attached to plungers that seal a bore between each the HP and LP side of the compressor.
Helical’s new Gen VI products can meet<40ms response times whilst having leakage-rates of <100l/min.
