Electronic Actuators are required on Turbochargers models to meet more stringent emissions regulations.

Helical E Actuators are built using brushed DC motors coupled with a multi-reduction spur gear box. To produce a torque output from a shaft.

E Actuators can be coupled with Wastegates or Variable geometry Turbos.

All E actuators are fitting with a position sensor and can supply either PWM, SENT or Analogue outputs.

To control the motor the ECU uses a H Bridge and PWM signal.

Helicals SMART E Actuator has an integray motor contoler and can be controlled by the ECU via a LIN or CAN signal from the ECU.

Helical E Actuators have a configurable design, based on the application requirements, most torque utputs and response time demands can be met.
